Niton999 Equipment was established 21 years ago as a family-run business specialising in providing quality equipment and clothing for police and security professionals. With strong local roots and a belief in offering young people employment opportunities, the decision to invest in apprenticeships was an easy one.
Tony Deverson, Managing Director says "The Niton999 Group Ltd has always championed the employment and training of young people, many of whom may not have experience but have the commitment and enthusiasm to take on new challenges.
Over the last three years we have partnered with Rewards Training to find apprentices for our IT and Sales departments and guide them through their training. We have recently had two apprentices, Marcus and Leanne, complete both intermediate and advanced qualifications, and who will be celebrating their achievements at the West Sussex Graduation Ceremony. We were extremely happy to offer both students permanent full time positions, and have now taken on a new apprentice.
The business benefits of apprenticeships should not be under-estimated, it is exciting to benefit from the new ideas and fresh talent that apprentices bring. We are also very fortunate that our apprentices have grown with us following completion of their apprenticeships and are absolutely an integral part of our expanding team."
